The Wilbur awards are a testament to the RCC's goal of excellence and recognize the work of individuals in the secular media who aspire to communicate about religious issues, values and themes with the utmost of professionalism, fairness and honesty.
The Wilbur Award were established in 1960, to honor Marvin C. Wilbur, a pioneer in the field of religious public relations. This highly regarded competition is judged by media professionals in a jury process, under the supervision of local RCC chapters across the country.
The 2007 Wilbur Awards will be hosted at the Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville, Kentucky, on April 28.
